The Certified Operator Role:


A FlexLoad Certified Operator is a trained professional responsible for efficiently and safely handling the loading and unloading of freight at warehouses. They play a critical role in ensuring that goods are moved, stored, and accounted for according to industry standards and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Freight Handling:


  • Safely load and unload goods from trucks or storage areas.

  • Organize pallets and materials for efficient workflow.

  • Ensure all goods are handled according to warehouse and client specifications.


  1. Equipment Operation:


  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.

  • Maintain proper certification and safety standards while using machinery.


  1. Inventory Accuracy:

  • Cross-check goods against shipment manifests and delivery schedules.

  • Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly.


  1. Job Documentation:

  • Complete and update job logs with accurate details of handled loads.

  • Communicate job progress and completion status to supervisors or warehouse managers.


  1. Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to all workplace protocols, including equipment handling and warehouse regulations.

  • Participate in routine safety training and certifications.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in warehousing and freight handling

  • Valid forklift certification

  • Pallet jack experience

  • Physically able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more)

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy

  • English speaking

  • Punctual
